What?

Pedagogy is everything you do after you step inside the classroom.

The most essential pedagogical skill is "seeing."

Learn to see yourself as a teacher.

Learn to see what you do when you step inside the classroom.

The answer to this question for me is the very reason I stepped OUT of the classroom. What do i look like when I teach? Just a little too much like Mr Gormsby! :)

According to my students (actual quotes);
"you are engaging"
'layed back'
'easy to talk to to and tell great stories'
'funny'
'you are a draw for my fav teacher. Ms Cramp is the other one!'
'I actually learn something'
'she saved my life' - Kaytlin Burney
'Ms Fisher completes me'
'you're pretty much like Beyonce...'

Hahahahahahaha, these crack me up!! But I like the compliments from my Yr 11 classes.
I crack myself up sometimes too. But honestly I am always up for trying new things, even suggestions from students.
As our education evolves, so do we!
